Much of this does not match current hypothesis. There is a probable impact crater under the glaicer in question. This much is correct. The age of the impact is between 50000 and 12000 years ago (with the more recent date being a newer and less-supported hypothesis), and the mass of the impactor was probably less. Even with the younger date, it is unlikely to have impacted our knowledge of ancient cultures. This would put the impact into the late Stone Age at the most recent, and the primary difficulty in learning about that time period is that the technology of the era simply didn't last - wood rotted away, and flint breaks or erodes until it is indistinguishable from natural rock.

Why would an asteroid affect any human civilization? There was an ice-age 12000 years ago, so the asteroid basically made an hole to the ice. And there certainly was no civilization living on the ice during ice-age. So is he saying that it changed the climate some way that killed of civilizations other side of the world, or what is the point here?

The thing about this YouTube channel and his video is that he makes the same mistake that he criticizes so mucj...and that is that he always deals in absolutes...he come up with a theory with nothing to back it up and then he goes like...well its obvious that I'm right and they are wrong...for example the Atlantis thing...well the eye of the Sahara is an interesting and mysterious place...so evidently Plato was here and the atlanteans obviously live here

Where did you get this info? No. Newest test place the impact as after the icesheet covered Greenland, 3 million years ago. It would have made a bang but no-one to hear it, much less any civilizations. Stay away from the History Channel.
